Dubai has to be on your list of cities which you should visit as it offers huge options to tourists depending on their preferences and if you happen to visit the wonderful city, then you just can’t afford to miss the Global Village.
The Global Village celebrates the diversity of the world which makes this world a great place to live and this year, in its 28th season, the Global Village has opened one full week before the time when it usually opens every year. On the first day, the gate of the Global Village was opened at 6 pm and the ticket prices have also increased this year but visitors will get a 10 percent discount if tickets are booked online. Tickets can be purchased through the app and through website of the Global Village as well.
There are two types of tickets:
Value tickets (Dh 25 at the entrance gate & Dh 22.5 online booking) – These tickets are valid from Sunday to Thursday excluding public holidays and their main motive is to encourage tourists to visit the Global Village during weekdays.
Any day tickets (Dh 30 at the entrance gate and Dh 27 online booking) – These tickets provide visitors with the freedom to choose any day of the week to visit the Global Village including public holidays and weekends.
However, the entry is completely free for people of determination and their one companion, senior citizens and kids under three years of age.
Though with the entry ticket, visitors will get access to all the pavilions and they will also be able to watch all the shows which will be performed at the stages of the Global Village yet there are some attractions for which visitors will need to spend some extra money such as Stunt Show (Dh 20), Ripley’s Believe it or Not (Dh 45), etc.
In this 28th season, there will be 40K shows for which 400 performers have been invited by the Global Village to show their talent, for example, AINJAA, Philippine troupe and America’s Got Talent alumni, Urban Crew, etc. The Fireworks show will also take place every Friday and Saturday at 9pm.
