The Dubai International Content Market event took place on 22-23 November at Madinat Jumeirah Conference and Events Centre and the event got a great response as more than 700 participants from over 30 nations took part in order to explore the new business opportunities and partnerships.
Eng. Anas Al Madani, Vice Chairman and Group CEO of INDEX Holding, talked about the importance hold by DICM 2023 as he said, “In its sixth edition, DICM is essential in bringing together content creators from around the globe. The industry has responded overwhelmingly well to DICM 2023, as seen by the over 350 companies from more than 30 countries who have confirmed their attendance. This indicates the significance of the event as a platform for new, creative, and globally appealing content.”
How successful the event was can be understood by the simple fact that more than 800 meetings took place on the first day of the event which brought together content creators, distributors, streaming platforms, investors, financiers, etc. The event had a global appeal as over 350 companies from different countries attended the event.
Fares Sayegh, the CEO of Roya Media Group, Jordan explained as to how attending such events could be beneficial as he stated, “When you get to talk with leaders in this industry, it becomes a very interesting discussion back and forth, and we learn from each other’s experiences where it benefits the audience. It’s essential to be involved here to have healthy dialogue and events such as DICM brings people together under one roof.”
